The process of performing Hatha Kriya Yoga is a simple, psychophysiological method by which the human blood is decarbonized and recharged with oxygen. You may begin to have mental clarity and your focus is more direct. Your immune system will be stronger, intellectual strength and growth, higher energy levels, a healthy nervous system, a relaxed and peaceful life.

RESTORATIVE

It helps provide that physical and mental balance, prevent stress and anxiety, through the use of props that allow us to hold poses longer, giving you all the benefits of deep pasive stretching. The purpose of Restorative Yoga is the centering of your breath and body by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. This is a good practice for anyone who has a hard time slowing down, who has experienced insomnia, or who struggles with anxiety. Great for beginners!

ROPES

Is a series of Iyengar style asanas practiced with aid of ropes on a wall, kurunta means puppet or doll made of wood. The student is literally suspended from the ropes, and it can be an invaluable tool for students who are stiff, weak or unable to perform certain asanas independently. For example, most of the students are not ready for inversions, but a rope wall facilitate the process by making the posture more stable and secure. The ropes also help the student become more aware of the orientation of their bodies, and also they experience greater opening of certain areas while still strengthening and toning the body. Discover a new and exciting way to practice yoga! Reach places your regular practice cannot take you. Reap the benefits of sustained asana. Anchor your pose and expand your movement.

VINYASA

Vinyasa Yoga refers to the arrangement or placing of yoga Doses or asanas in a special way. Vinyasa Yoga is also sometimes referred to as Flow Yoga because the poses run and transition in a smooth, flowing way. The flowing sequence of specific poses in Vinyasa Yoga is coordinated with the movements of the breath. What this means is that one pose is connected to the next one using the breath. The focus is on the flow of the movement rather than on individual yoga poses. In other yoga types, a yogi engages on a specific pose, holds it for some time, and breaks from the pose to start another one. Vinyasa Yoga is usually said to be a practice that can be performed by yogis of all ages and abilities, however, working knowledge of more basic yoga practices can make it easier for students.

POWER

Power yoga is based in Ashtanga Yoga, it has many of the same qualities and benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility as well as stress reduction. Power yoga is a general term used to describe a vigorous, fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style yoga. Incorporates the athleticism of Ashtanga, including lots of vinyasas (series of poses done in sequence) and also includes muscle-strengthening exercises which can help to tone your muscles. Some researchers theorize that yoga stimulates vagal activity (of the nervous system). Practicing yoga can help to maintain cortisol levels and aid in maintaining a healthy weight. Power Yoga can burn more calories than a traditional yoga class. Why? Intense movements, faster heart beat, more energy needed, more calories burned. In addition to these cardiovascular beneffits.

ALIGNMENT

Alignment is intended to create a stable foundation for a safe practice, to allow the body to open in new ways, and to reduce the risk of injury. While you might not feel a sudden, sharp pain from doing a pose out of alignment, many yoga injuries are cumulative, accruing little by little. Wear and tear on joints and supporting tissues happens over time, so many yoga students find themselves with repetitive use ailments years into their practices and have to break long-established patterns to remake their poses in healthier ways. That’s why it’s important to establish optimal alignment (for your own body) as early in your practice as possible, which can often mean using props liberally. Using the right props, like a grippy supportive mat in addition to blocks and straps, is not in any way a signal of inadequacy. These props are intended to help yoga students practice with good alignment right from their very first day instead of compromising their form.

YIN

This type of yoga is slow paced and has a meditative approach based on the Taoist concept of yin and yang opposite and complementary principles in nature, in which Yin represents the more stable, solid, passive, unmoving, introspective side of things while yang is all about the ever changing, moving, revealing side of live. This duality aspect reflected in all thing our bodies included. Our muscles and blood represent the yang while the more stiff aspects of our body like tendons, ligaments and connective tissues are more of the yin aspect. And so, a Yin yoga practice is going to be focused on these solid connective tissues which respond better to a slow and steady load. You will be introduced to a much more slow-paced style of yoga where each position is being held for longer periods of time ranging anywhere between 1 to 5+ minutes.

MEDITATION

Description:Meditate is engage in mental exercise (such as concentration on one's breathing or repetition of a mantra) for the purpose of reaching a heightened level of spiritual awareness. The goal of meditation is to go beyond the mind and experience our essential nature- described as peace, happiness, and bliss. With meditation, you are fully awake and alert, but your mind is not focused on the external world or on the events taking place arround you. Rather than turning off your thoughts or feelings, you’re learning to observe them without judgment. Meditation is not a part of any religion; it is a science, which means the process of meditation follows a particular order, has definite principles, and produces results that can be verified.
